Where can I go to obtain decals for this autowagon or do I have to have them made? I would need headlights, dash guages, the "autowagon" script logo, tail license plate, etc.

1950's hand crank rubber toys on red plastic bases

I have searched in vain for the captioned toys. When you turned the crank in the base, the rubber toy would open it's mouth and/or move it's arm. The names of the toys were shown on the red plastic base. "Teddy" and "Ducky" were two that I remember. Can you help me find information about these toys? Thank you.

1973 Lesney Products - Plastic cars with planet earth logo on side?

I found these plastic cars and poseable figures at the Thrift Store. I found your site and was hoping you could tell me what they are? The plastic cars have a planet earth logo or sticker on the side of each one. The cars are trademarked 1973 Lesney Prodcuts. However, I can find NO plastic vehicles made by Lesney in 1973 that list this set or vehicle. The figures are small and have bendable legs and arms. There are two helicopters as well. The figures fit inside the vehicles and helicopters. Two of the vehicles are army green color and have the planet earth logo on the side? Any idea?

1980's Story book reader

I'm trying to locate a story book reader I had between 1983-1887 sorry but I really don't remember the exact time frame. what I do know is that the story book reading only worked on books that had this yellow vinyl circle on each page. the way it worked was you place this rectangle shaped reader on the yellow circle that had a small hole in the center, press the button and it read the words out loud. The only book I remember having with it was a Mickey's Haunted House story. there was a part were the ghost sang the following lines"We are ghost that live in an empty house, a house that is old and chilly? we ? and ?and rattle or chains? there was also a part in the book when mickey opens a door and water pours in and he asks the person reading this book to hurry up and turn the page! I adored this toy growing up and would love to have it again. I think there were two buttons on the top of the reader it self. The book was a spiral bound hard cover book and included most of the disney cast such as donald, pluto. Please help

40s or 50s Carnival Prize?

I have 2 similiar pieces. One is a small rubber mermaid inside of a flat, round plastic case (2 1/2" dia.). She dances when you turn a small metal crank at the bottom of the case. The other one is about 4 1/4" tall. It is a rubber hula dancer inside of a plastic shell. She dances when you turn the metal crank located under the cardboard floor...what are these? Thanks! My daught had a Baka Baku when she was a little girl and loved it. She doesn't have it anymore (we don't know where it went). These dolls were made in Taiwan by Russ Berrie & Co. Inc probably in the 1960's . Some of thier names are Dr. Do Good, Executive Ed , Shape Up Sue. The tags have a little story about them living in Sunnyville. I am interested in finding out when these dolls were made. What their value might be for insurance purposes and if anyone else has them. I was unable to get any info. from the Russ Co. in Oakland, NJ. City mentioned on tag. Thank you.

Construction Toy

I played with a building set as a kid that I loved. I remember for sure having it in 1978. It came in a big blue cardboard tube with a red plastic top. The toy pieces were octagon shaped and had "legs" at each corner of the octagon that went down and nubs on top of the corners (it sort of stood like a little table, but there was not a solid top. The octagon was just a border.) You would build by connecting the nubs on top of one octagon to the legs underneath another. The octagon was made of plastic and came in several colors. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Can you tell me the name and if it is still made? Thanks a bunch.

I am looking for the small fry original plate projects. I used to pick them up at my husbands national principal conventions. But he retired. I haven't been able to locate them. My father bought me twin dolls in 1985. They were about 18 inces tall. On the box, the girl was called "Molly," and the boy was called "Micky." I had a doll when I was around 4 which would have been in 1979 or so. I was a bean bag doll with red hair, either vinyl or plastic feet and her name was Ruby. My mother seems to think she was part of a set but cannot remember who made her. I lost her at christmas of that year and it has haunted me ever since then and Iwould love to find her. I had a doll when I was a little girl and she had vinyl head and limbs, her legs were bent sideways and she was laying on her stomach, she had a blue soft body. She either had a pull string or wind up on her back and she played a lullaby and wiggled. Can you help me identify this doll. This would have been late 1960 or early 1970's.

DOLL - 4 INCHES TALL

I was born in 1961, so this doll was given to me somewhere in the late 60's early 70's. This doll was only about 4 inches tall and she had long straight strawberry blonde hair. She had a small hole in her back (I think) and a small apparatus that had wheels on it stuck in her back and you pushed her along. That's about all I can remember. Don't even know who made her. I think she came with other accessories.

I had a doll in the maybe mid 70's that was dressed in a non-removable sleeper who had 3 faces. One laughed, one cried, one slept, he face would spin to the approprite face. It used a battery I remember and I think there was white fur around the hood of the sleeper. My friend drowned it. I kept it still but lost it in a move when I was 11. I'm 43 now. Can you tell me what its called and where I might find one. I also had a doll I called Cindy that I remember being recalled due to flamibility. She was soft bodied w a celluloid face. Does this one sound firmiliar? Mid to late 60s.

In the 1960's I had a small doll, she came with a plastic crib, a rattle, bottle, not sure what else. You would press her arms down, then press a button in her middle, and her arms would pop back up in a hug. Can you give me any info on this set? The doll and all her things went inside the crib, then it fit into a clear plastic case.

I have this Barbie that my little sister got at a yard sale. She needs a new one because this one is starting to fall apart. The problem is that we do not know what Barbie it is. She has a flexible stomach, blue eyes, blonde hair, jointed arms and legs. The back of her head says Mattel Inc. 1998 and her back says 1993 Mattel Inc. Indonesia. As a child, I had a doll which was black, wore a blueand white two piece short set and jumpe rope when the rope was placed in her hands? In the 1990s, my grandmother had two dolls. one was an Eden Classic So-Soft Baby Doll Beloved Classic. she was pink. There was also a matching blue baby doll. She also had two books. One was about a little girl who looked like the pink baby and the other was about the little boy who looked like the blue baby. I want to know where to find this toy. (Yes, I have searched ebay.) I believe the date on the box was 1972 and I think I have the item number, too -- just not with me at present. This toy, when you flip it open, allows you to place a swatch of material on a figure of a fashion doll. The result is a doll wearing a dress witht hat fabric.... In the late sixties or early seventies my brother had a football game that offense had diffent playing cards as well as defense. They each picked a card and inserted into the game and offense would pull back a slider on the side and where it landed is the result of the play and you would slide an indicator on the game board. Mini-Golf board game

As a child in the 1960's I had a mini golf board game that had a black rubber ball in the middle that had a place to put the ball and you pushed down on the center to make the ball go. It had several different holes. I think they may have discontinued because the ball was so small I am sure it was a hazzard since my brother put the ball up his nose my mother threw it out. It was our favorite game too and we have tried finding one for years and haven't been successful. Sorry I don't have the maker or more details. If you could help me I would be very grateful.

Over-sized Stuffed dog

I am looking for an old stuffed dog I had when I was little. I was born in 1977 and remember having this dog (I think at least about 2.5 feet tall) into 1st grade. He was an orange and brown stuffed dog with a name tag that said either Regan or Reagan. I remember this name because my favorite teacher from first grade's name was Ms. Regan. I could still wind the key to get the music, until 2 months ago until I soaked it to get the aging out and the Lamb white again. Wondering where I might find a replacement music box or if anyone could repair the lamb to insert new music box with same toone.

back in the early 80's I had a motorcycle it was white with blue stripes and it was poweredby a cord hooked to a helmet similar to a yoyo string and when u pull it it would rev a motor inside the bike and spin the wheel on back. ive ben searching for this toy all over the internet with no luck, I dont know who made it,or what year it came out. but i know that in the early 90's matchbox came out with Harley Davidson stunt cycles that were very much like mine except Except mine was a street bike style to the best of my Knowledge.I wish I could find the maker of this stunt cycle and If you know where I could get one from.... thank you Steve

Back in the late 70's or early 80's i had a toy robot that i would like to find again. It was black, about 8" tall and had 2 or 3 red laser guns on its chest that would fold down and light up, i think they would make a noise too, and the eyes may have lit up red also. SMALL DOG TEDDY

I'm trying to find out the origin/maker of a small toy dog received as a present in 1983 in the UK. The dog is approximately 5 inches high. His stance is like a teddy bear - so he sits up, not on all fours. Also he has no tail. His fur is a light brown/fawn colour and has floppy ears which are dark brown. He has orange glass eyes with black pupils. He used to have a small tongue as well. May have used to have a nose, but it may have fallen off. Now he just has a snout. Super Tiny doll family from mid - late 80's - early 90's

I have from my childhood a SUPER tiny family of 5 Mom/Dad/Daughter(blonde hair with pigtails) boy (short brown hair yellow shirt sailboat on front) baby (blonde girl wearing pink outfit BABY written in white across front) and family comes with a blue car, and blue furniture. Everything is plastic, dolls all have large open smiles (no teeth) and large blue eyes. Adults measure 1 and a half inches, 4 cm's.

TIN TOY ELEPHANT

Can any one help me please with my tin, battery operated elephant. I do not know where it came from, although it was found at my nans house when she died in 2982. It is about 10 inches tall and 12 inches long. It is covered in a grey, plush type of material. It has a carrier on it's back where a tin hunter sits with a gun. When it is turned on via a hand held, plastic battery container, it wwalks, moves it's ears then the hunter spins around and there are noises of gun fire. I have a tin, toy elephant. His body is covered in a plush material. He has a carrier on his back which houses a hunter with a gun. Tomy's Big Loader motorised chassis

I came home to find the motorised chassis for Tomy's Big Loader in pieces. My wife did not realize you don't need to unscrew the chassis to replace the batteries and all the parts fell out. I've searched and searched on the internet to find the proper alignment on the transmission drum which allows the chassis to move forward and backward without success. Tou truck from 1969 - 1970's that blew real smoke

My husband, now in his 40's rememberd his last christmas when he was 5, before his family turned Jahova Witness - He remembered his last christmas gift being a toy truck he thinks was called "SMOKEY". He talks about that truck all the time. Now that we are married and celebrating the holidays that he never had I would like to find the truck and present it to him this year for Christmas. I would like him to remember his last real christmas with his family however, now that we are married and have a child, i would like him to remember his first christmas with our son. I am looking everywhere for this truck but have had no luck. He is now 44 and he remembers being 5 years old when he received this smoking truck, so it would be late 60's early 70's, came with pellets that you inserted into the pipes and it would blow smoke. Toy/ Figurine toy

Hello, I am trying to remember the name of a toy. It would have been made 1985-1988. These toys were a series of characters, that all had rubber balls for heads/faces. They would bounce but not really since most characters had a protruding nose. They featured interchangable hats/tops and bases/feet. I do have packaged somewhere in a box in my parents attic, the policeman (light blue ball head and navy blue base/top) and I can remember that there was a least a "cat" character as well as many other general ones (firemen,doctors etc.) Do you know the name of this toy series? Vintage Stuffed Chimp Zippy?

I have a stuffed monkey that I know is either Zippy or Bim. The question is, which? I had no idea there was a Bim, in this line, until today. Mine has a red ribbon for suspenders, across his chest, but otherwise looks like what Ebayers refer to as, Zippy. I've owned three of these 50's - 70's monkeys and have never seen the ribbon until now. Is this a distinquishing mark of the Mr. Bim or the Zippy? Thanks so much for helping out here.

voice activated robot

I have recently found, in a box in the attic, my 16 year old son's voice activated robot. I am guessing he got it as a gift around 1999. It was trsademarked andf copywritten in 1999 and manufactured by MGA Entertainment. It is a large robot, about a foot and a half tall, gray with black and red accents, treads for movement on the feet, movable torso and arms and is voice activated. It will move, talk, shoot rockets from its weapon holder arms and has a numeric pad (useable) on its chest. Came with a headset with clear goggles and an earpiece and microphone. Extremely cool and way ahead of its time. I remember it worked very well if you programmed the voice commands properly. I think it might have been called Gobot or something like that - no name or label anywhere on the toy or headset. I need a manual so we can use it again. Can you help?

During the mid 1960's, we used to get small little animals that would "walk" to the edge of the table and stop. They were made to walk using a smll plastic ball on a piece of string which was draped over the edge of the table. We got them in some boxes of potato chips (brand unknown). White Stuffed Rabbit=about 12"

Bought at Burlington Coat Factory in Hunt Valley, MD 03/2001 for granddaughter - she lost ut at store last year - white-soft terry like with floppy ears - pink lined = also soft terry like fabric with sewn pink eyes, nose & mouth - I even called Burlington for Manufacturer - no luck. Also had a little round soft terry like tail. Had floppy ears but not oversized like those loppy eared rabbits. Please help me - would love to surprise my granddaughter - I'm going bonkers trying to randomly search the net for this rabbit - it was eastertime when I bought it and everytime I go to Burlington - I look at their stuffed animals.

Wind-up toy steamboat, early to mid 1990's

I am looking for an old wind-up steamboat toy that I had as a child in the early to mid 1990's. I don't know the company that made the toy, but I remember my precious boat well. The top half (lengthwise) was white, and the bottom half was blue. The paddle wheels on it (that turned when you wound up the boat) were red in color, and the wind up mechanism itself was white. The wind up mechanism was on the underside of the boat. On the top half of the boat, there was what looked like two stickers of stick figure people on each side. The entire boat was approximately 5 to 6 long, and approximately 3 to 5 inches high. Does anyone know of this boat, and where I can find it again? That boat was one of my absolute favorite toys, and I wish to have it back again. I have checked Ebay, and no luck thus far. Any responses would be greatly appreciated!

Wooden castle for Britains Swoppets

In the early 1970's I received a wooden castle and a set of Britains Swoppet knights as a Christmas gift from my parents. I'm pretty sure they bought it all at FAO Schwartz. Swoppets knights I have found easily enough (ebay, etc.), but I have never seen the castle anywhere. I don't recall it having any brand name on it, and may not have been a Britains product at all, although it worked beautifully with their knights. It was composed of particle board with some hardwood pieces. It had a rectangular base and the following elements which were all separate and fit together on the base to form the overall structure:

- 2 small gate towers with drawbridge
- 1 large corner tower with walkway to the gate towers
- 1 medium corner tower with staircase
- 1 roofed gallery that went between the 2 corner towers
- 1 ramp which led up to the drawbridge

I would love to pass the fun I had with this set onto my son, if I could find that castle. Thanks so much for your time

During my childhood mid 1980's. I had a toy from when I was first born to a toddler. It was a Round orange and yellow puppy dog, all plastic, with balck freckles. I remember it Sqeaked also. I dont know if it's the correct name, but my mom called him Butch Bodasie. I am having my second child and have been looking for this toy since my first child.
