101 Dalmations Pillow
I am looking for a red 101 Dalmations Pillow that my niece had when she was younger. The pillow had a head at one end, a tail on the other end and 2 legs off of each side. It would have been between 1995 and 1999. I have looked on ebay and other sites and have not been able to find it. Any ideas?

1940's or 50's?
I've searched online all over the place looking for any information I can get on this toy I found some time ago. It was made by the Rushton Company. I know it is vintage, and I know its old. My question is when was it made and how much is it worth. It is a stuffed skunk with a plastic face that is holding flowers in his hand. I also would like to know if I should put him away cause my 4 year old wants to play with him.

I'm not sure what the name was, but I do know you wound the small silver key on her back (her body was stuffed and I think yellow) hair choice blonde or brown and when wound, her head rolled around on her shoulders to a lullabye. Can you tell me her name and if there is any way to get one these days. Thank you so much for your time and help in this matter.

1969 Tootsie toy
Hi. I would like to get some information on the tootsie toy that I recently purchased. It is marked 1969 and it is green with the number 92 written on the front. It also has a hook coming out of the front of the car and purple plastic wheels. I know that the Tootsietoy company stopped making complete die cast vehicles in 1969 and I would like to know if this could possibly be a first addition of the new type of cars they started to make. I would also like to know if it is an ornament or what the hook may be for. I do not see any cars like this on e-bay. It would be great if you can help. Thanks!

1970's Teddy Bear
One of my favorite childhood toys was a small, brown teddy bear that I'd had since around 1971. I gave it away when I was in my early teens and have regretted it ever since. As best as I can recall, it was around 12" tall and made of an unknown brown material to simulate fur. It had a bell in one ear and I think a thin red mouth, but I'm not sure about that. I am hoping that a teddy bear expert might be able to identify the bear and provide me with some information or, perhaps, locate another one. I have a pipcture with my beloved brown bear when I was a toddler (around 1971 or 1972). I also have pictures of a bear that I bought on eBay is very much like my old bear. The eyes are exactly the same, but the body doesn't seem right. Since the eyes are the same, I'm guessing that my old bear and this one were made by the same company. Unfortunately, there is no tag on the eBay bear. I have seen several other bears like this one on eBay and they didn't have tags either. This is quite a mystery!

I was trying to find out about the first toy I ever recieved as a child. I wanted to know who made it and if I could get a replica. I do remember the bars being blue. Where can I find this spring horse. My son loved it, and I want the same one for my granddaughter.

1980's Stuffed dog w/ striped hat and shirt
Hi! Somewhere in the early 80's (I was born in 83), I received a stuffed dog that I called "Baby Doggy." It was fluffy, with a yellow-black striped shirt and hat (I could be wrong on the colors, as I was colorblind). It's eyes and nose were hard black plastic. He had huge floppy brown ears (I tore one off) and a tiny pink felt mouth...I think I may recall that he had his tongue sticking out, but if he did, it's long gone now.

ACTION FIGURE - 1970s TO 1980s
This has been driving me crazy for years. I always saw these toys on the top shelf and i never gtambled on them because i thought that they would always be there. one figure was some strange android with a chrome silver body and a green head. Another character was a Darth Vader wanna with a round black helmet, black cape and silver robot like features on the face. I remember being jealous of this toy whenmy friend got one because it featured better articulation than the twelve inch Darth Vader I had at the time. This guy was about eight inches tall, and articulated like the megos. I thought maybe Buck Rogers or Battlestar Galactica....but I have no....this was something else. Please...it would help a lot if you could identify this line and tell me who these guys were. Thanks.

Active toy - catch, using j-shaped tubes
I was telling a friend about this toy/game I used to have. It involved a small ball, and a couple of J-shaped plastic tubes, rather like snorkels. There was a flare at the top of the tube. The idea was to catch the ball in the top part of the tube, and then launch it out of the bottom part (which was facing upwards as well) Anybody remember this one? What was it called? Thanks.

An interlocking car city
During the 80's my brother had an interlocking car city. The city was made up of square pieces which had buildings on them and roads which interlocked with each other to make a city or town. All I can really remember is that there was a bridge and gas station - with an actual bell tube your car drove over to make it ding. The pieces were grey, and some buildings were accessible to the cars (like going inside a garage). Do you have any idea what this might be called and if I could purchase one for my sons?

battery operated toy from '80s

Instead of wheels, the cars had very small metal 'cylinders'? rollers? that they rode on. The cars were caught at the bottom and once they reached the top, they sped down thru a few curves. Also, there was a penguin toy, about same size as the other. The penguins were moved by magnets. Any ideas? colored plexiglass interlocking building toy
When I was growing up in the seventies we had this great set of colored transparent plexiglass flat squares with a single notch centered on each side. They were primary and secondary colors. Each square was about 2"x2" (or maybe a bit bigger)and maybe 1/16" thick. The flat squares interlocked and you could make all kinds of three dimensional structures with them. The structures were very beautiful because the colors would overlap one another and make new colors - yellow and red would make orange for example. I do not remember what they were called and I wondered if they are still available. They came in a styrofoam tray where all the squares could be neatly put away and I think we had even saved the box over the years. I'd appreciate some help identifying and finding this toy. Thanks. Dice Game (similar to Shut the Box)
In approx. 1973 I had a small, handheld (possibly a "travel game"?) that consisted of a clear, plastic, flat-topped "dome" with (I believe) blue flaps encircling it. The whole unit was perhapd 6 inches across and 4 in. thick. On the flaps were the numbers 1-9. Inside the dome was a pair of miniature dice. To play, one shook the game, rolling the dice, and then flipped down combinations of the numbered flaps, adding the numbers on them together, to total whatever number the dice had rolled. This is similar to the way one plays Canoga/Tric-Trac/Shut the Box, but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of this game, or it's maker. I would love to find one of these as a Christmas present for an old friend. Can you help?

doll
Back in the late '50's early 60's there was a doll named Schoolgirl Susie or Susie Schoolgirl...she was about 2 feet high (not sure) had long blonde hair, was dressed in a plaid school dress and came with a desk and school supplies, including a satchel (I think it was plaid, too). Supposedly you could help make her 'write' (the doll's hand guided by the child, of course). I have wanted this doll since I first saw her when I was 9 yrs old. Who was she, who was the manufacturer, and is this doll available anywhere? Thanks for your time and any help you might be able to give!

Doll - Plush with plastic face
I had a doll in the late 60's or early 70's whose name was Algy. So named because he was the first hypoallergenic doll that the company (whose name I do not know) ever made. I'm not sure I spelled his name correctly. He had a greenish-gray plush body with a plastic face. He was either a bear or dog or maybe even a pig. He had green eyes that moved and a cute little mouth that sort of smiled. His eye lashes were real-looking. His "fur" was not very fluffy and he had a stubby tail. I still have one - sort of. His body has been replaced and I would love to find another one. Thank you!

Doll House
There was a small doll house I had in the very early 90s that I am trying to find. I think the name Jenny was in the title somewhere. It was bought from Jc Penny, but I don't know if it was an exclusive. It was only about 1-2 feet tall, but was a mini mansion, and included some other grounds buildings, (pools & garden).

Doll house
I had a cardboard dollhouse in the 70's that poped up. It came with a plastic doll family. I thought it was called Loving Family but I am not sure. The mother had blond hair and large eyes, the father had brown hair and large eyes. There was a baby and I am not sure about any others. It was a one level house and I believe the roof came off or there really wasn't one. Any info on this would be appreciated.

doll or pin cushion?
At a thrift store, I ran across a 3.5" tall wobble doll. Has an asian looking face with painted on hair (can't tell if the head is wood or bisque). The doll has on an elaborately painted leather dress. I'm not sure if is is a wobble doll or a pin cushion. The rounded bottom is also covered in a leather and seems like it would be too hard for a pin or needle to go into.

Doll, Ideal
I have a 1950s\Is my doll a composite. She is 15'tall, glued wig,"sleepy" blue eyes, with lashes. Her body and legs are hard plastic, but the head and arms are soft. The head is marked, "MK-14", under that is "Ideal Doll". The body is marked on the back as "Ideal Doll", under that is "P-90". Her face is very demure with closed lips, unpainted. I have searched the Ideal Toy site and can find nothing to match her with. Forty-nine years ago my grandmother began to teach me to sew and still do today. I'd like to find out as much about my doll as possible since I now have a new granddaughter and will be sewing for her dolls as well. Thank you.

Egg, transforms into skeletonized dinosaur.
When i was a child around (1986-89ish), i had some friends who's father was a Navy Seal. He bought them toys from the base PX (Florida keys), (imported i think from the orient). Anyway i seem to recall it was three eggs in different colors, about the size of a medium sized orange, each transformed into a different, very detailed dinosaur skeleton. One was a pterodactyl, one a Trex (i think), the third i cant remember.

Would you by any slim chance know of where I can look to find another clock or something else that I could use in lieu of the original clock? Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated especially since they have such an interest in a good old-fashioned game! An interest that I would like to foster! Thanks so much and have a great day! :-)

GAME - ELECTRONIC - 1970s
Trying to find 1970s Mechanical Electronic Game featuring a Red Plane with Magnet in its baseTrying to find 1970s Mechanical Electronic Game featuring a Red Plane with Magnet in its base. This has been driving me crazy for years now. I keep checking eBay, Wikipedia and even here and have searched Google using every combination of words that I could think of to explain what I'm looking for but to no avail. Here's the description. From what I remember, it was a black electronic/mechanical game along the lines of Tomy's BLiP or Hit-and-Missile (also called Missile Strike) and featured a plastic grid on its face where you moved aound red plane on a magnetic base. There was some button and knob that moved a magnetic 'switch' around under the board and when you hit a button, if the switch was under the plane, it lit up with sounds. Now I can't be exactly sure that description is 100 since it was three decades ago let alone the fact that I didn't own it... the neighbors did... but I was fascinated by the concept of what it did (mechanically, not game-play-wise) and would love to at least find out more about it.

Jumping Dog with Sticky Food Bowl
For whatever reason this childhood toy has stuck in my memory and I would love to find it. This toy is from the early 50's. My dad bought it at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport gift shop. It was a dog that to the best of my recollection looked like Goofy or Pluto. The legs and neck were spring loaded and there was a "food" plate that came with it. The "food" was tacky. You would secure the bowl and then push the dogs nose into the bowl thereby sticking his nose to the tacky surface. At this point you would patiently watch until the nose was released from the tacky surface and the spring loaded legs caused the dog to jump into the air and do a flip. The surprise was jack-in-the-box like and it created hours of enjoyment. Any ideas as to what it was called, who made it or where I could find one? I would be very grateful for any assistance.

Musical Radio- hand held (handles one each side) with big orange button in middle.
I am looking for a toy that I lost- It is a small hand held- oblong toy with handles on each side. It has 3 options and a round orange button in the middle and plays various nursery rhymes. It was my nieces (she is now 13) and my 1 year absolutely loved this toy. Not sure where we lost it and I want to find one. I thought it was maybe by Fisher Price? But no luck yet.

My son was deaf and he could hear the noise he loved that toy so much that wore the plastic thin till it caved as he sat on it and it made no more sounds. We had our youngest boy ten months ago and want to get him once. We think he will like it to since we found out he is deaf as well. Playskool pegboard town with train
I'm trying to find the name of a Playskool toy that dates (I think) from the mid-to-late 1960s to see if I can find replacement parts. The toy consists of a bright green pegboard, 5-3/4 inches by 9-1/2 inches, with the word "Playskool" written at the bottom. The board is imprinted in white with a train track and road, and there are brightly colored houses, trees, a train engine and a car and truck that attach to the board with colored sticks. The colors are bright red, yellow, blue, purple, green, and orange. Can you tell me the name of the toy, and when it was manufactured? Plush Bear
Hi there.I got this teddy bear in 1990 when I was born. It was a gift of my moms best friend. After so many years, it went thru a lot of stuff, and my grandma had to sew it back another body. She had to do that about 3 times now. Originally it was wearing a blue/white plaid kinda dress. It looks like a mouse or a bear, but I never really got what animal it suppose to be. I always call it bunny cause it was my first word. Right now it looks grey, but originally it was a really light pink. It has brown with black eyes, an orange triangle nose, inside the ears are the colors yellow, light green/blue, and purple. It's funny cause it never had a mouth I think, But then again right under the nose you see a red dot. I think that was a part of the mouth. I'm really attached to this teddy bear. And I was wondering who made it and if I can get one just like it still? This might be really important too. I'm from Belgium, Europe, so that's were the teddy bear came from. Please help me out with this one. It means a lot to me. Thank You for your help.

PLUSH TOY - RAINBOW PATTERNED DOG/RABBIT
I found your website several years ago during my first foray to try and find any information about a pair of toys I had. While I didn't find any information then, and eventually gave up, I've returned to the search once more. The two toys are plush rabbits that could also be dogs. They have a rainbow pattern on their stomach, and on the underside of their ears. The one I call Mister Rainbow, I was given first, during the late eighties (post 1986), and is brown. Several years later, my grandmother gave my sister the second (around 1993)- though my sister didn't take to it, and I ended up with it. It is grey, and shows evidence of newer construction methods- the nose is a different plastic grade then Mister Rainbow's, and more detailed- and it also has a red felt tounge. I've been trying to find the origin of these toys for a long time, but nobody seems to recognize them.

Plush toy (1970's Gray Mouse, Sad Face)
My wife had a stuffed gray mouse with a sad face she got just after her mom died in 1978. It had been in good condition until this morning when our 7 month old German Shepherd decided to chew the face off trying to get the plastic nose off. My wife doesn't have a lot from her childhood that was good but this was the one thing that got her through many terrible events in her life. The mouse was gary with pink on the front of the ears. The head seemed to be more fuzzy than the rest of the body but it may have been from holding. The face was sad and it had a tear drop I believe. She said it had a pink apron like dress when she got it but it got lost in all the military moves. (Military Brat) I would love to replace it for her even though it would not be the same one. She was very heart broken and cried for a long time when she saw it. She even mentioned getting rid of the dog who is her baby before she thought about it longer. Any help would be appreciated.Thank You, Matthew. P.S.It was washed so many times the only tag we can read anything on says Made in Korea.

SESAME STREET PLAYSKOOL ALPHABET TRACK - need VEHICLE for track
I am looking for a "school bus" that rides the track on the alphabet track to this playset. I do not know the age of the set. The track is made up of the letters of the alphabet, and they connect any way you want them to. Many of the Sesame Street characters are present as small flat plastic characters which can stand on the side of a letter. There are also plastic trees, stop signs, and park benches. This is not really a "train track" because there is no train. The vehicle is a yellow school bus or city bus, with green wheels and the decals show SESAME STREET ON THE FRONT, and the little "Bug" characters in the windows. Our vehicle is broken, and I would like to replace it. I have been to the playskool website and I cannot find any mention of this set. Same for Ebay and Google. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Small Car Tracks
I just this morning (11/23/08) saw on cable tv, advertising for a very flexible, connectable, car track called FLEXI TRAX. You connect the track pieces and it is wonderfully flexible so as to form a circle, figure 8, straight, oval shape etc. with the push of your finger. The car with this set is a small plastic battery operated auto. The track is multi colored (primary shades)flexible plastic. I am researching on the internet and cannot find the manufacturer or item for sale. This track with car is sooo simple and with additional, flexible add on track would seem to render hours of fun for child and parent. The track I saw could be stored connected. Could you help me find this item to purchase? Thank you. Betty.

spaceship toy similar to sky racer
I'm trying to find out about a toy that me and my twin brother played with in the late 80's to early nineties. (we live in England). These toys were what I might call a prototype of the later sky racer sets. They were plastic spacecrafts with small removable figurines that traveled along cords that were suspended from doors or chairs. The good guys vehicles I think were grey and blue and were motorised. They traveled along a belt of material around the same width as a measuring tape. The bad guys vehicles were purple and traveled along fluorescent green cord. Whereas they good guys spacecrafts had a clockwork motor The bad guys vehicles were not battery powered but moved from a high point to lower point on the cord kind of like a zip line. If anyone out there could let me know the name of these toys I'd be really thankful.

My cousin had a stuffed fir ball that they called Sir Laugh a Lot. The first time I saw it was in the 1980's and they had had it for a while. They do not remember where or when they got it. You throw it on the floor and it laughs - a lot. Have you ever heard of it and do you know where I can get one?

Stuffed Snoopy - nylon
In about 1993 or 1994, i got my son a stuffed Snoopy dog. It was not necessarily plush but more like parachute material on the outside, probably 20-24 inches. I think he had a red scarf when he was new and his nose was like a black ball of the material that fell off over the years. It was around Christmastime and I got it at one of the chain stores (maybe Venture or Target?) In any case, his has seen better days and I would certainly like to get him another one to keep around for when he has kids someday. Thanks for any help with this.

styrofoam ball levitation toy
my brother got this for Xmas @ 1964-1965 I think. You blew into it to send a small (donut hole) sized styrofoam (or could have been ping pong) ball through a circular track. The object was to keep the ball going around and around in a circle, partially through the air. Any idea what it was called or where I could find something similar? I was only 3, so he didn't let me get my hands on it (girlie sissy spit, I guess!). Thanks!

TOY - SQUISHY PINK HEAD WITH BIG EARS AND BIG NOSE AND A HARD BLACK BASE
I am looking for a toy that was somewhat popular in the 1990's. It stands about 6 inches tall and is a bright pink head with oversized ears and nose. It had a hard black base so that it could stand up. The bright pink head was filled with a material that made it squishy and easy to mold, but it would always return back to it's original head-shape. They also had a smaller version of this in a keychain. I would appreciate if you could lead me in the right direction to the name of this toy. I am trying to find it for my little sister! Thanks!

Toy pistol from the early 90s. It shot inch long hollow yellow rubber bullets. The bullets were loaded one at a time at the end of the gun. The gun was powered by squeezing the ergonomic grip to the handle. The handle had holes in it to hold the rubber bullets. It was colorful and more sci-fi than realistic looking.

The toy broke beyond repair and I would love to find another one SOMEWHERE so I can replace it. I hope you can help me. This was not a name brand toy, it must have been bought at either ROSS or a DOLLAR type store, it was very generic looking but yet her all time favorite toy.

WALL CLIMBING PULL STRING WOODPECKER
I have been trying for years to find a toy that I had as a child in the early 60's. I found a similar question in your archives.....here it is.....BIRD CLIMBS ON WALL - 1960's In the early 60's my sister & I had a toy that we are having trouble remembering, but loved playing with it. To the best of my knowledge, it was some type of bird, it had suction feet and a cord to pull. You placed the bird (I think it was a bird) on the wall and it walked up and it did stay on the wall pretty well. That describes it perfectly. Do you know what it was and where I might find one? Thank you so much for your time! I appreciate it! Lisa

water plumbing construction set
circa 1963... vertical grid with base that held water. Battery powered pump pumped the water through tubing to various funnels, paddlewheels, and other devices in a loop back to the base. I believe it was mostly grey plastic. Pump ran on D batteries I believe. Came with color tablets for the water. You had to construct the path from the pump back to the reservoir using tubes, which would fill up a bucket past a tipping point after which it would enter a funnel, and so on. Bery rube goldberg-ish! I have been looking for this thing for 30 years!
