- I am looking for a doll my brother gave me when I was little which would have been in the early 1940's. It's head, hands, and feet were hard and the rest of the body was cloth. It had a little record which I believe was in the doll's back and which after you would wind it up it would play "Mamma, Up Mamma Pick Me Up" and then it would laugh. I don't know the maker of it and was wondering if you did and where I could find one.

- action figure with truck
- In the early 1980s (81-82), I had a small action figure (about 2 inches tall) with a green off road vehicle. The toy came in a box, bought from KB Toys. The figure was posable and the truck/jeep had a winch on the front with string and a hook. I later (within a year) I was another truck from the same line, only it came in a plastic bag. The second truck came with a posable figure, but the truck was orange/red and did not have a front or back, but seating in the front and rear as if it could go in both directions. The second truck/ vehicle had a winch as well. I have always wondered what that toy that I loved so much was. thanks

It has a plunger-type mechanism at the top to start the balls popping and spinning around inside the clear dome. There are 4 groups of levers 4 in each group of a different color. The balls pop inside and you have to get the same colored balls to match the levers and pop out colored balls that don't match. Once you have all four matching balls you hit the top plunger to stop the balls from spinning.

- Blue and White Plastic Blocks
- I have older set of building 'blocks' that I'm trying to find the name of. They consist of blue plastic sticks (X shaped in cross section) of two lengths ~2" & 1" with plastic white connectors (six blue blocks could connect at a corner in cube fashion). They also had wheels (wheels attached to a white connector) and swivels (two white connectors attached together with a pin running through) and cover plates (~2"x2", red and yellow) that could snap inside a square of the larger sized blue blocks. I don't have a picture at present, but I have the blocks at my parents house so could probably get one. I'm not sure how far they date back. I had them passed on to me about 30years ago from my uncle and I'm not sure how long he had them or if they were passed to him as well. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

He is about 12" tall his body is pink and his arms and legs are yellow with black tiger stripes. He has two big green eyes that had 3 or 4 large hard plastic blue eye lashes on each. Before the surgery (preformed by my dad) Tim Tim had a pull string voice box. I have no idea what he said because it was taken out when I was very young. Any information I can get would be very helpful, thank you for your time. J.

Mine is made out of wood. The artical also had patterns for making an upholstered sofa and wing-back chair. I still love my dollhouse but over the years that magazine has been lost. - In 1982, i was five years old. i don't know the toy production or release dates, but i had a toy i really loved! It was a plastic yellow triangle shaped sealed box. It had built in poles with hooked ends that look like bobbins. You snapped on a removable special thin peg board. You then took laminated paper cardboard sheets with faces on them, and snapped them on the peg board. You then took plastic pieces, that were face parts like you would use on mr. potato head. You took those face parts and snapped them on the pegs. When you were finished, you turned a crank on theside, and the parts of the faces would spin around! There were plastic gears that went on the pegs, behind the face! The toy, had some silly name like: Crank a face, silly faces. I would like to know what the name of the toy was, and what toy company made it, and if you know of some place i could contact to buy one! I need to know the price too! Can you please help me?!!! I would be forever thankful and in your debt! Thank You! Matt

- Gold jointed teddy bears - Classroom Set
- I was given a set of little 3" teddy bears in a classroom set. Classroom meaning there is a one-piece desk/bench set that has three rows for the "student" teddy bears to sit at. There is also a larger "teacher bear" about 5-6" tall. Each student bear has either a pink (6) or blue (3) ribbon around their neck. A total of 9 little bears and a teacher bear. There is also a chalkboard on a tripod stand and little black slate boards for each student. 5 of the small bears have a "made in japan" label on the bottom of one of their feet, as does the teacher bear. There is also a desk and chair for the teacher. I would like to know if anyone knows anything about this set. I received it from a friend who mentioned she played with it in the 60's but know nothing else as she is now deceased. I am wondering about its potential value and anything else I might learn about it. I saw a similar set on e-bay about two years ago, but it only had the teacher and seven student bears. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

- Hand tilt flip flop craft toy
- I have absolutely no way to figure out what it's officially called, but here goes. Visualize four playing card sized wooden panels, about 1/2" thick or less. Now, picture them laid end to end. Now imagine fabric straps interlocking each of the panels, so that when held in the air by the top panel, they will flip flop end to end when the top panel is tilted. It's mesmerizing to watch, and I would love to build one of these toys. For the life of me, I can't figure out what name they go by, but they're pretty easy to build. Got any idea of what I'm talking about? You hold the top panel (with the other 3 or 4 hanging beneath it by the fabric bands (like ribbon). When you tilt the top panel, all the other ones below it start flip-flopping. I LOVED playing with those as a child. Many thanks for your help...Randy.

- Hot Strings?
- In the early 90's, my sister used to play with these things. They were multi-colored, neon-colored mesh things that sort of looked and were in the shape of hair ties. They came in different sizes too. You could wrap them around your fingers and keep string more together off your hand and make little mesh sashes that you could use for bracelets or whatever you wanted. It seemed like the word "Hot" was in the name of them. I asked my sister about it and she doesn't remember them. Can you help?

- I can't find even mention of this toy anywhere!
- It is a motorcycle some were trikes modeled after real motorcycles & motor -"trikes" as they were called in 1975-78 when these were sold for children 5-14 years old. What was unique about these toys is that they had very intricate detail, electric motors that propelled them quickly accross flat surfaces. They were 3-5" inches long with well made rubber wheels. What distinguished this most from other toys was the large dark orange colored battery charge pack that acted as a receptacle for two D or C batteries. The battery pack had a wire the could plug into the back of the motorcycle. When an indicator informed that the toy was fully charged (usually in a few minutes) the plug was pulled and the toy motorcycle switched on, then sat down to race across the floor. Please, tell me something is known about this rare toy that I think was made by TYCO.

- Late 80s - Early 90's Car toy. Like slot cars but no remote, no slot, walled track.
- They are kind of like Radio Shack XMODS but they weren't RC. You could customize the motor, wheels, tires. They had little wheels on the corners of the car that guided them along the track walls. The body snapped onto the chassis in the front and back and possibly the sides too. They were kind of a fad toy either in the late 80s or early 90s. Anybody else around the age of 30 know what I'm talking about? They were basically like slot cars, but had no controller and you just turned them on and raced them in the wall-track. I am having a tough time finding anything about them... PLEASE HELP!!!

- Metal Toys - - Barnyard
- I have come across a metal barnyard playset. Each person, animal, foliage, equipment is painted. I'm sure it's not made out of cast iron because each piece is not heavy enough and too light for tin. The set includes part of a fence(maybe barn opening?)made of some type of particle board. Set includes: rabbits, geese, peacock, quail, chickens, horses, cow, pig, dogs, pigs, sheep, goats, water trough, trees, foliage, fence pieces, woman holding chicken feed, milk maid (or egg gatherer, looks to be from Holland because of white hat) and old gentleman. Foliage, fences, people, and several animals are on metal bases, while the other animals stand on their own.

- Preschool toy from the early 70's
- I've been trying to track down the name of the toy and the company who made this preschool toy. It was a series of houses that could be connected via a turning wheel in the base. Wen you turned the wheel, it would activate a feature that would move the characters placed in the holes in the floor (i.e a mother cat rockinga kitten in her arms...). The figures were all animals like beavers, rabbits, cats and dogs. All were molded with limited articulation but with a small metal peg in the base of their "feet" that when pressed or inserted in the hole of the house or accessory would make them move (rock, wave their arms or turn their heads). If you can identify this I'd be very greatful. Thanks in advance,Jason.

It was silver approx 15 inches long and it was silver with a black landing gear and black lasers on the left and right side of the wings and had a really cool ball turret double laser gun on the rear. The cock pit windows were an orange-red transparent color. It also came with a really cool two seater silver land rover with black wheels and guns on the side of the vehicle. A storage compartment was on the back too. Also the two action figures were the same size as the vintage star wars figures and they were in silver jump suits with helmets.

- Stuffed Toy - Star Wars maybe?
- I got this doll in the mid-1980's. It was fuzzy, short and fat (no arms or legs) and wore a purple cape. I'm pretty sure that the "face" was the only fuzzy part and that the cape created the "body". It had 2 bulb eyes (like the little bulbs you'd put in a light bright toy) that would light up/blink when you walked past it or when you turned off the lights. It would also make a noise, rapid beeping. I don't remember it having any other facial features, just the light-bulb eyes. It feels like it may have been from Star Wars but I'm not positive.

- I am looking for a toy rabbit I got between 1990 and 1992 from my grandmother. It was cream or beige colored, and had large floppy ears with silky material underneath. It was wearing removeable bunny splippers, and had a zipper compartment in the back. Black plastic eyes and a small pink nose and plastic whiskers. The whole doll is about 12 inches long (not including the ears). The soles of its feet were about 3 1/2 inches long (this is a distinct feature!) And the silky ears were 6 inches long from base to tip (also a distinct feature!!) This was my favorite toy when I was young and I would like to know more about it. - TEDDY BEAR - MADE PRIOR TO 1950
- I am searching for information on a teddy bear that I had as a child. The bear was purchased for my mother at a yard sale when she was a child and she was born in 1949. At the time she got it, some of the "hair" was already wearing off making us think it had already been around for a while. The description of the bear is 12" or less in length, white or off-white wooly coat with black ears and paws. The bear was rather thin and was stuffed less at arms and legs for a lot of mobility. I believe the eyes were not originally inset, as numerous sets of buttons over the years were sewn on to replace his eyes. The most distinguishable feature was his rather large protruding nose which was white with black accents that I believe was made of some type of rubber. My remembrance is that he had no tag. This was my favorite childhood bear, the only one in fact, and I had it from a very young age until my early 20's when he was lost during a move. I would love to know what type of bear he was so that maybe I could find another one like him or perhaps have a replica made. I am over 40 now and my lifelong unanswered question is what happened to him or if I could ever have another to give to my daughter who is now 4. I would very much appreciate any information I could get about this bear!

- Whoop Stick
- When I was a kid (mid-nineties) I had this toy, it was a plastic tube, maybe two feet long. When you turned it upside down, it went "whooooooop." That's all it freaking did. Over and over again. I LOVED it. Please help me! I think it was grey or beige, with black tips, but I doubt that helps.

- My brother got this toy truck in 1959 for christmas he was 2&1/2 years old and he and I played with it till he was about ten when it finally gave up and fell apart. It was the coolest toy ever it had side boards with big wooden screws that could be unscrewed with your big wooden screwdriver and the wheels came off the same way with bolts and a wrench both wooden. I'm trying to find another one like it can you help me? Thanks Chal

- wooden wagon with spoke wheels
- Two years ago I purchased an antique wooden child's wagon at an auction to use as a prop in my wedding. I didn't think much about it in the last couple of years, as it's held houseplants ever since. I recently noticed that if you glance at it in the right light, you can see where "Star Coaster Wagon" was originally painted in possibly gold lettering on the two long sides. When I tried to research this online, I could only find auction bills for wagons of this type. Could anyone tell me the history of Star Coaster Wagons?

- Worlds of Wonder Talking Mother Goose
- I have a 1986 Worlds of Wonder Talking Mother Goose. It is working fine except for the mouth, which has stopped moving. I have one with a stationary head, not one that turns like some models. I have looked all over and can't find anyone who even repairs them that I could send her to. Do you know if there is anyone? I was about 8 when I got her for Christmas from my Grandparents and have many wonderful memories! I would love to have her fixed so my future children can enjoy her as much as I did. Thank you for your time. I really appreciate it! ~Kristen.
