As the world’s first and most popular “virtual pet” toy, the new Tamagotchi Connection V4 lets kids join their favorite Tamagotchi characters on a journey through life by playing mini games, going to preschool and elementary school, and then choosing a fun career as an adult…just like in the real world!
Kids can select from 15 different professions, including scientist, professor, doctor, banker, TV anchor, rock star, fashion designer, baker, beautician, florist, theme park worker, preschool teacher, fireman, travel agent and chef. Which career you choose depends on the accumulation of your new “Skill Points,” which are earned by playing all the different mini games in your Tamagotchi.
This colorful and portable tech toy allows kids to experience what it’s like to raise a real pet, as well as encourages them to interact with their friends via its cool infrared technology. This advanced feature lets two Tamagotchi owners to “connect” together and trade gifts or play games.
The new V4 also lets you travel to the interactive and colorful world of www.TamagotchiTown.com, where fans can see all the Tamagotchi characters just as if they were in your hometown. Check out mall, play in the arcade, visit the old school and even engage in your career all in one place!
V4 even expands upon TamaTown.com by letting you see your character online as it goes to school, plays in the various games, and partakes in life’s other daily adventures. Log on to see your official TamaTown.com driver’s license, as well as your Shopping Bag that conveniently lists all the recent items you’ve purchased or won from the site.
Tamagotchi Connection V4 includes the most games ever (20 games), 21 new characters (for a total of 53), and even more collectible items and souvenirs than before (144 total). For the first time, you have the ability to raise either a male or female character. Also, the toy has a snazzy new look, with a colorful ball on the antenna’s end.
